Teacher of Design Technology & Engineering/General Science at PWS

We are seeking to employ a part time enthusiastic teacher of Design Technology, Engineering and Science to join our team of dedicated teachers for 2 days a week.  The successful applicant must be able to teach Technology to KS3 and KS4, and Engineering to KS4 and KS5 and KS3 General Science

This is an exciting time for the school as examination results have seen rapid improvement and the school is expanding.  In 2019, 72% of our KS4 cohort achieved grade 4+ in both English and Maths, 52% achieved grade 5+ in both English and Maths, our Progress 8 score was +0.25,  and the gap between disadvantaged and other students closed significantly for the second successive year, with the Progress 8 score for Disadvantaged being +0.06.  In KS5, we achieved 56% A* - B and 79% A* - C, an average grade of B-, and a positive progress measure of +0.08.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality lessons for students of all abilities.
