Covid-19 information

We have implemented a range of new measures to help both staff and pupils to stay safe and well.

We have planned to see years groups return in a phased approach as and when the Government confirms that it is safe for them to do so.

We have introduced a raft of changes to the way we operate in order to follow social distancing guidelines. These changes include smaller class sizes, staggered break times and designated staff to work consistently with each pupil group.

We understand that this is a difficult and worrying time for us all, but please be assured that the safety and wellbeing of our pupils and staff is our uppermost priority.

Please find below some links to useful information about how we are dealing with Covid-19. This webpage will be updated regularly.

Provision of work for students who are isolating

If the school is subject to a localised lockdown or is required to ask one or more groups of students to isolate at home staff will provide online home learning for all.  If a student has symptoms and is required to self-isolate the school will provide home learning for that student.

However, the school is not able to provide online learning to individuals who are not in school for other reasons or are quarantining following return from a holiday abroad.  In these circumstances, students are asked to contact friends to find out what topics have been covered in class and use links on the school website (in the links section of EduLink) and other online resources.
